The Role

• Lead the design and delivery of building structures projects across Defence, Data Centres, Education, Healthcare and Commercial sectors
• Take ownership of projects from concept design through to construction support while remaining hands-on technically
• Work closely with clients, architects and contractors to deliver high-quality project outcomes
• Opportunity to be based from either the Sydney CBD or Newcastle office

Responsibilities

• Lead structural projects and provide technical direction throughout the project lifecycle
• Remain actively involved in structural design, technical review and problem solving
• Manage client relationships and act as a key point of contact across projects
• Mentor and support engineers and drafters within the team
• Coordinate with architects, contractors and internal disciplines to ensure successful project delivery
• Assist with project planning, resourcing and the ongoing growth of the structural team

Requirements

• Current Principal Structural Engineer or Senior Associate/Associate ready to step into a Principal role
• Experience leading projects and managing engineering teams within a consultancy environment
• Strong building structures design experience within an Australian consultancy
• Experience across commercial, education, healthcare, industrial, Defence or Data centre projects
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Full Australian working rights
