The Role

This senior role, based in their North Sydney office, will see you lead the delivery of structural design across a range of building projects including mixed-use residential, commercial and industrial developments. You will take ownership of complex projects, act as a key point of contact for clients and consultants, and play a leading role in maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
Working within a well-established national team, you’ll guide project delivery locally while collaborating with experienced engineers across the business. You’ll lead design across steel, precast and post-tensioned concrete, masonry and timber structures, while reviewing work, mentoring junior engineers and helping ensure projects are delivered to a consistently high technical standard.

The Requirements

• Proven experience delivering structural design within a consultancy environment, with the ability to lead projects and manage relationships with clients, architects and project teams across building projects such as commercial, residential or industrial
• 7+ years’ experience in a local consultancy environment, with the ability to own client relationships, act as a key project contact and confidently engage with stakeholders
• Proficiency using software packages such as Inducta, SpaceGass and RAPT (or similar structural analysis tools)
• A positive, team-oriented approach and the ability to work closely with others in a supportive environment
• Full Australian working rights
