About the Role:
Exciting FIFO opportunity for experienced and qualified Welders to join our team in Adelaide, South Australia. Training is provided in Burton, with candidates who successfully complete training progressing to our client site in Osborne.

- Meet either Level 2 (110%) or Level 3 (120%) in the SA EBA ($51.74 per hour – $56.45 per hour – permanent rate) – as per the Enterprise Agreement once the Shadbolt training has been completed.
- Travel time paid (4 hours each way) at following rates:
- Monday to Saturday will be paid at ordinary time.
- Travel time on Sundays and public holidays will be paid at 150% of the ordinary hourly rate.
- Flight costs covered
- Airport transfer at your cost
- Shared accommodation provided
- Share vehicle provided
- Per diem $89 per day, capped at $353 per week
- Site Allowance $40/day
- 4 weeks on and then 4 day weekend (i.e. typically RDO, Saturday, Sunday, RDO)
- Please note: Should you wish to remove yourself from the program or request to return home outside of the work cycle, you will be required to book your own flights and cover the associated flight costs.
- Must pass a welding test prior to acceptance into the role
- Must be an Australian Citizen (Defence requirement)
- Special Class Welder qualifications and experience
- Demonstrated experience in shipbuilding / naval construction
- Skilled in high-integrity welding to AS 1554.1 and Defence standards
- Must be willing to undergo a medical assessment and provide a clear Federal Police Check
- Must pass a welding test prior to acceptance into the role
- Safety-focused, reliable, and able to thrive in a FIFO environment
